Awards

Honoring Those Who Carry the Fire ~ Each year, the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. (NABS) proudly recognizes the voices, visionaries, and vessels who preserve and uplift our sacred oral traditions. Our awards celebrate those who have made a lasting impact through storytelling, community service, cultural preservation, and the intergenerational transmission of Black truths. These honorees are more than recipients, they are torchbearers, griots, and guardians of the culture. Explore the legacy. Celebrate the excellence and join us in lifting every voice.
